Our Pro Wave boards are all Canadian!
Sourced from Canadian materials, including EPS foam from Delta, BC and Ecopoxy36 that is 36% bio from Winnipeg, MB, they are fully manufactured in Whistler, BC. Each board is shaped by our in-house CNC machine from Precision Shapers and then individually hand-finished by Steve Legge, owner of Kahuna Paddleboards. You will truly be riding a one-of-a-kind, hand-produced SUP.
Our PRO WAVE ‘customs’ are the ultimate wave board – we’ve tested it everywhere and the new design was worth the wait! The Channel Pin tail provides premium stability and fast releasing bottom turns while the 32″ x 9’2″ boards are a perfect fit for those looking for a shorter, wider board. The boards are constructed with an EPS core with “S-Glass”. The rails are wrapped with “3K Carbon” to stiffen the overall board flex, while two 6oz E-Glass layers on the deck (plus an additional 3k in the standing zone) add additional strength. Set in the Channel Pin, the 5 Futures Fin box gives you multiple fin options. We also increased the nose rocker to 6.75” high so that you can attack and ride those high-head waved.

Construction Type
PRO series is a "hand laid" board based on a 18kg foam blank with a balsa stringer. The lay-up starts with a full 3k carbon wrap, then a bamboo veneer is added to the top of the blank for added strength. The board then receives a full 6oz glass wrap and an additional 3k carbon top layer for even more strength in the standing zone. Once all the layers are set up by hand, the board is vacuum bagged. The vacuum bag process insures consistent curing and evenly distributing the resins throughout the overlapping layers. The PRO Series boards have a unique one of a kind look and feel, resulting from the ultimate bamboo/carbon construction. These boards are built to charge the waves!!
